About the Website

The purpose of this website is to share and bring to a wider audience, the many beautiful stained glass windows that contribute to the peace and tranquility of Romsey Abbey. 

​

   The images are from a library of over 10,000 photographs taken in and around the abbey by Roy Romsey.

​

  He has created a number of websites showing different aspects of the abbey, which are helpful and add interest for visitors and armchair travellers.

 About Roy Romsey 

​

A Romsonian by birth who left to live, work and travel in 98 countries.

  A varied career transitioning from hotel management, English tutoring and crocodile hunting, to finally creating a design and media company.

Early retirement allowed more time for travel, design websites,

write 30 quirky short stories and create

a photographic record of Romsey Abbey.
