The corbels at the Lower East Level of Romsey Abbey are arranged in two table of 6 corbels each, some of which have been badly eroded by the weather.

One of many faggots of wood depicted around the abbey. Wood would have been valued as an important commodity in the old days - as important as as we now value electricity for heating, lighting and cooking.
