Whilst numerous plans of the abbey have been drawn over the years, few if any have accurately shown the location of items within and without the abbey.

In 2015, a plan of the abbey was amended and over-laid with a GRID PLAN, from which a floor code, a location code and an elevation code could be created - accurate to within two metres.

Location codes has been added to descriptive text where possible.

NB: Plans with simplified location numbers have been added in some instances.
