Awaiting descriptive text

The choir stalls were made by the Rev. Berthon's boat-building craftsmen in 1889, the fronts of which are decorated with carved portraits of leading characters of the day, it was no doubt done to compliment the 14th Century Choir screen which his workmen had also refurbished.   Unfortunately the list of names identifying the choir stall portraits was unwittingly thrown away by a curate, the only known portraits are those of the Revd Berthon, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
